ReadyShare Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account Profile: Full name, verified email address, mobile phone number, and profile photograph.
• Identity Verification Data: Government photo ID, driver's license details, and vehicle registration documents (stored on encrypted AWS S3 buckets).
• Travel Itinerary Data: Departure address, destination point, departure date, and travel vibes (smoking, music, pets).
• Communication Logs: In-app chat messages exchanged between drivers and riders prior to pickup.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match riders with drivers traveling identical corridors.
• To generate and validate the confidential 4-digit pickup OTP.
• To execute digital wallet deposits and bank transfers via Stripe and Flutterwave.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent bookings.
• To transmit critical ride updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging and SMS.

3. Geolocation & Route Information

ReadyShare utilizes GPS coordinates to estimate pickup proximity and calculate travel distances. Location tracking is active only during ride creation, search matching, and ongoing trips. We do not track continuous background location when the app is idle.

4. Payment Security & Wallet Tokens

ReadyShare does not store raw credit card numbers. Financial transactions are processed through certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partners (Stripe and Flutterwave) using tokenized references.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

• Cloud Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) for encrypted backups and media.
• SMS & Notifications: Twilio for phone verification and Firebase for push notifications.
• Payment Gateways: Stripe and Flutterwave for multi-currency processing.

6. Your Privacy Rights & Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account directly through the mobile app settings (/User/deactivate_account), which erases your profile and anonymizes historical records.
